We:
• Recruit and train the next generation of teachers through internships, subject knowledge enhancements, initial teacher training and apprenticeships.
• Maximise the impact of the Early Careers Teacher Entitlement (ECTE), recognising the pivotal role of effective mentoring.
• Ensure that ECTs receive their statutory entitlements through our role as an Appropriate Body.
• Develop and build a pipeline of great leaders in our region through the National Professional Qualifications (NPQs).
• Exemplify and mobilise the best available evidence ensuring access to evidence-informed CPD and resource which prioritises its impact upon children and young people facing disadvantage.
